WIAW #1 On the Go

Here it is.  My first WIAW post (also known as What I Ate Wednesday) thanks Jenn at www.peasandcrayons.com for hosting.

My eats yesterday were on the go, thanks to a busy schedule.  Let’s take a look.

Pre-run

I always nosh on something before running, you need a little fuel in you before you ask your body to exhaust itself.

After eat that, and of course, drinking my coffee, I headed out the door for a quick five mile run.  It was super humid out, which left me coming back home, thinking of only one thing, an ice-cold protein smoothie.

After eating, I showered, babysat, taught school, made a phone call and flew out the door for a Jason’s deli date with my friend Julie.  If you guys have never been to Jason’s deli you seriously have to go, they have the best salad bar ever. See?

After eating, Julie and I decided we still needed something, so we headed our merry way to one of my favorites.  Starbucks.  I like strong, dark, black coffee. So Starbucks hit the spot (and does every time.)

A few hours later, a quest bar happened on the way to visit my cousins and my new baby cousin Kate.  She is completely adorable.

The highlight of my day was seeing little miss Kate.  She is beautiful and it is such a testament to the Lord to see new life.  Amazing.

Once we got back home, we all whipped up whatever was in the fridge.  So this happened.

After dinner, I snacked on some un-pictured dark chocolate for good measure, read a good book with my sisters, and stayed up too late.  Life is good, even on the go.
