Coffee Date/ 1/31

Well the Christmas season came and went and now we are finally to end of January. January always feels 50x longer than any other month of the year, but this month, Landon and I have gotten into some good rhythms and found some sweet routines, which makes it feel so so good. And January, honestly hasn’t been that bad.

Benaiah’s recently been loving and playing with all his new Christmas presents and he can’t get enough of them. I am thankful for some extra toys and games to hold his attention and craft with. His current favorites are Paw Patrol toys, Magna Tiles, and LEGOS. So.many.legos. Fun fact: I didn’t really grow up with legos around (my brother had some but I didn’t play with them) and I am discovering this long lost world I never knew existed. I am entering that boy mom (not just toddler boy, but boy-boy) world all at once!

Meanwhile, Eliana is rocking all things pink and girly. And I love it. She’s doing so well, getting so big and I am over here crying inside because she’s growing up too fast!

While I am not tripping over lego pieces or playing Paw Patrol – I have been sipping coffee, running (more on that later!) and reading a ton! Landon and I have just started reading through the Chronicles of Narnia series and am LOVING it. Seriously, how did I not read these through yet? We are currently on book 3 (The Horse and His Boy) and it’s been so fun to be in a story together. I’ve also read A Tale of Two Cities this month (SO sad, SO good.) and in the middle of Little Women. I used to read all the time, but have gotten away from it. This year, I am determined to make a comeback.

Short little update for now, but wanted to check in and say that we are doing well, busy as ever and excited to grow and write and connect with you guys this year!

What are you currently getting into this year? Give me some ideas and inspo!
