WIAW: Salads for Days

Happy Wednesday friends! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are blooming- obviously, it’s going to be a good day.

It’s also a WIAW – have no idea what is going on, check out the details here

Let’s rewind to yesterday morning. After sending Landon off to work, I made myself a bowl of oatmeal with a glass of almond milk on the side. Baby T must have enjoyed the oats, because after eating breakfast, I could feel little one squirming around all over the place. (Best.feeling.ever.)

I spent my morning having my devotions, cleaning the house, blogging, working some business, and resting. For some reason, I felt so wiped yesterday morning. (I blame the baby.)

Once I got my energy back up, I had a leg day scheduled. Boy, I could feel the burn this morning!

I realized after working out, it was around noon and my stomach was rumbling. To fix my predicament, I made myself a salad and had some cottage cheese and multigrain tortilla chips on the side.

The rest of the afternoon, I finished cleaning the rest of the house, ran a few errands, prepared dinner, and worked on my blog.

While I was running errands, I found this amazing dressing. Please do yourself a favor and pick some up immediately.

I didn’t take a picture of my snack yesterday, but I did inhale some watermelon while cutting one up. Watermelon is beyond refreshing and I am convinced I need it in my life daily.

Once Landon came home, we had mock “Chipolte.” I cooked up some brown rice, made guacamole, and topped a salad with black beans and corn. We also had some more of those multigrain tortilla chips (my personal favorite.)

We ended the evening with a Bradley class and more watermelon. Because, watermelon…

Looking back, apparently I was craving salads and fruits, which I guess is a good thing!

Catch you all later. Enjoy the day!

Questions of the Day:

  1. Have you ever tried Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressings? What’s your favorite flavor?
  2. Anyone else craving watermelon recently or is it just me?
  3. What did you make for dinner yesterday?
