What Running Does to Me + Current Cravings (TOL #71)

So I just realized that on my last TOL post, I labeled it as #60- which was totally off. It’s actually the 71st addition of this post, not the 61st. Goodness, I blame the mom brain.

Anyways, I hoe you guys are checking into the blog today happy and healthy! Can you believe tomorrow is Friday already?! No complaints here! Bring on the weekend.

As usual, thank you Amanda for hosting this round of TOL!

Now onto the good stuff…

You know that time of the year when the air smells sweet and the birds are continuously chirping? Yes, my friends, we have arrived.

This week has been filled with lots of runs and I couldn’t be happier. Right after I started running postpartum, I was sidelined with a hip flexor injury/strain. Not fun. I’m so thankful to be recovered from that injury and feeling stronger than I have for a long time. #praise.

Currently dreaming about this frozen yogurt and wishing I had a bowl of it right now.

Or I could settle for a bowl of this. I’m hungry and I just finished lunch. We have a problem friends.

And I think it’s called building distance. Is it just me, or when your miles increase does your appetite increase, dramatically? Yesterday and today, I’ve been hangry, pretty much all day long! Goodness.

It could have something to do with nursing + running, but lately my appetite is 1738x more than it used to be.

This quote. So good.

In case you forgot to stretch today, here’s a little video. Hopefully, it will encourage you to fit it in sometime today.

Speaking of running and stretching and stuff, I’ve created a free Facebook community for females runnners, JUST LIKE YOU! I thought it would be super fun to have a place where we all good connect, learn, encourage, and motivate one another to be the best versions of ourselves and talk about running and fitness!
