Peanut butter and chocolate make these protein bites tastes not only delicious, but decadent. These protein bites are not only packed with protein, but they are super easy to make! They are perfect for an afternoon snack, pre workout or post workout treat, or even, dessert!
I love protein bars, but I don’t love paying for them. As delcicious as protein bars are, they can be expensive! A great alternative? Make your own! These protein bars not only are delicious, but literally, take ten minutes to whip up and require no oven! What could be better, you ask?
These turned out so well, that I think I’ll make a big batch and freeze some in order to have healthy snacks on hand when baby T comes.
So, without further ado…
- 2 c. Whole oats
- 1 large scoop vanilla whey protein
- 2 tbsp. Chia seeds
- 1 c. Creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. Melted coconut oil
- 1/2 c. Honey
- 1/2 c. Dark chocolate chips
Combine dry ingredients. Add in wet ingredients and stir well. Roll into balls (it may be sticky!) and chill in the fridge for an hour.
