Friday Favorites

Hello friends and happy Friday! Landon and I are gearing up for a CRAZY weekend – jam packed with two back to back weddings (one on Saturday and one on Sunday.) I don’t know if we will have much rest, but I do know that it will be fun, nonetheless. I hope you all have some fun weekend plans, whatever the weekend brings for you!

Today, I wanted to share a few highlights from our week and give you a peek into what we are loving around our house lately > have an awesome weekend, friends!

pool

Our Local Pool

This year, Landon and I decided to invest in some pool passes for the summer. Even though Benaiah and I have only been a handful of times since it has opened for the season – I have no doubt it was one of the best decisions we made all year long. Benaiah LOVES the water and is currently obsessed with the ‘bananas’ < which are banana looking buckets that dump water out every 2 minutes or so > I am looking forward to many more summer days in the pool and teaching him how to swim/get comfortable in the water.

1 miles

1 mile Runs

I mentioned this in my last post, but I’ve been running 1 mile for the past two days with ZERO pain! I couldn’t be happier! Running is such a humbling sport, you can go from running your best race ever to having to take 11 days off within a week. But, that’s is what I love about it too. I love learning more about the sport and learning from injuries and the challenge of coming back even stronger!

Bubbly

It is safe to say that I have an addiction to any form of sparkling water – like it’s bad. Bad like I can go through a 12 pack of sparkling water in three days or so. Thank goodness there is no sugar in sparkling water or I would have all sorts of issues. Usually, I am drinking either La Croix or Belle Vie (Aldi’s version) but I recently tried Bubbly and it was super good! Honestly, I don’t think it tasted mmuuuch different, but it is sparkling water…soo…

Gelato Dates

Last night, Landon was gone at a bachelor party, so mom and Niah decided to party. 😉 And by party I mean a gelato date. My favorite local coffee shop has the BEST vegan gelato (that Benaiah can have since he still has an allergy to dairy). I asked Benaiah after dinner if he wanted a treat. He flashed the biggest smile and then proceeded to run around the house yelling ‘treat,’ ‘treat,’ > be still my heart. We got a scoop of vegan banana hazelnut gelato with cacao nibs and it hit.the.spot. He’s the best little date, ever!

And that’s a wrap! I hope you all have an awesome weekend! Catch you on Monday
