Three Generations + New Web Designs: Friday Favorites

Hey there Friday, I am glad you are here. This week has been one of those week that felt long and at the same time, I felt like it went by quickly too. Does anyone else feel like this?  We are all still fighting a little cold, but I think we are on our final round (Landon finally caught it yesterday.) Since we are all a little under the weather and tired from a long week, I’m thinking we will spend some quality time soaking in a slow weekend and enjoying each other’s company. I also have plans to make homemade pizza tomorrow night, which I am super pumped about (it’s been far too long since I made homemade pizza.) Normally, I make it with cauliflower crust, but for this weekend, I’m contemplating making a thick, doughy crust. What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite pizza crust recipe?

As is the new usual around here, I am sharing a few highlights from this week that haven’t been shared on the blog yet! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Sharing a Smoothie with Benaiah

Benaiah’s intense love for smoothies continues and it doesn’t matter at what point in the day. Yesterday, after he finished his breakfast, he saw me make my own smoothie. Naturally, he asked for some and I couldn’t turn him down. We sat on the floor of our kitchen, as he shared spoonfuls of my creamy, frozen drink. It’s these little moments that I so love. I am also a fan of his smoothie addiction because I can pack lots of veggies in his drink without him knowing in. Winning at life.

New Website Design + Updated Run Coaching Material

I’ve been working my tail of this past week, getting a bunch of my coaching material published on a membership site on my blog! Now, under my run coaching tab on my blog, you can find a membership site for all my athletes! There, my runner’s find all of their nutrition support, coaching videos, workout videos and more! Launching the new web page proved to be a challenge (hello internet problems, I am looking at you) but I know it is well worth it. Love my athletes! (ps. If you have questions, about my coaching make sure to comment below and I will get you the details!)

Three Generation Run

Wednesday, my mom, Benaiah, and I went on a run together and I loved every second I spent soaking up this three generation run. It really hit me, after our run, how much of an impact my mom has had on my own running ‘career.’ As I watched her consistency through my growing up years, it slowly impacted my own desire to leave that same example to my children. I am so thankful to have her example and I desire to leave the same for Benaiah and other future kiddos.

And on that note, I am going to go get Benaiah out of his crib and get this Friday show on the road! Hope you all have an awesome day!
