SNOWED IN + Weekend Recap

Oh hey there friends, it’s me, Bethany. I’m sorry for the late recap post, but between a couple crazy days, Internet problems, and car situations, life has been full. I guess that’s how some weeks go, right?

Okay, let’s rewind to Saturday morning…

Saturday began with a snowstorm, a workout, and a furniture run! Friends of ours were getting rid of furniture and asked if anyone wanted it. We had recently been talking about getting a bigger table and their table fit the bill!

Oh and I’m in love with the China hut.

Our neighbors (who are also our landlords!) came over and helped bring in the furniture (thank goodness for friends!) After tearing our house apart and putting it back together, we got ready to go to our families Christmas party. Unfortunately, the car didn’t start (because of the cold) so we decided to stay home.

Since the snow started coming down pretty heavily, it ended up being a good thing we stayed in.

After a good afternoon of productivity, we went over to our neighbors and enjoyed an evening of fellowship, lasagna, and chai tea lattes.

We ended the evening ended with popcorn, The Nativity Story, and late night cups of coffee while the snow fell.

Sunday morning, we made it to church- on time! That was definitely a cause for celebration. After church, we made a last minute trip out to visit Landon’s parents for collard greens and a movie night.

Since the snow was coming down pretty heavily by the time we were planning on leaving, we decided to stay the night.

Isn’t Benaiah’s stocking adorable? He couldn’t take his eyes off it. And yes, he hast the biggest stocking. 😉

Our impromptu sleepover was a blast and even though it meant leaving early in the morning to get to work on time, it was worth it.

And there you have it.  Our weekend in a nutshell. I hope you all are having a great Wednesday!

Xoxo
