Pretending That it’s Fall and I Ran!! (Eh, .25 Mile…) WIAW 7/26

Ladies and gentlemen we’ve made it half through the week! That’s right, it’s Wednesday, which also means it’s time for a WIAW!

If you are new around here and don’t know what WIAW is, get the scoop here

So…yesterday morning I was so excited to test out running. (I’ve taken two weeks off since spraining my ankle- and I’m dying to fly.) Also, Mizuno sent me some shoes (thanks Mizuno!!!) to try out (more details about that later! Stay tuned!) so I was more than determined to get out and run.

And I did. Well, .25 mile. Man, my heart and soul wanted to run so badly, but I knew my ankle wasn’t quite ready yet. I think I’ll wait a couple more days and try again on Friday or Saturday. Wish me luck!

Anyways, onto the food…

After my super epic 😉 run (ha), I finished up with a little circuit workout and made myself my almond butter cocoa smoothie. Can’t stop. Won’t stop.

Annndd, I finished it off with coffee. Because coffee is necessary.

I spent my morning working on organizing our new place, having my devotions, running some errands, and getting ready for the day.

Landon wasn’t coming home until one for lunch, so I snacked on some cucumbers (from my inlaws garden!) to hold me over. Pretty sure I had some watermelon while I cut one up too…

Once Landon came home, I enjoyed a big salad with (unpictured) cheese and watermelon.

Watermelon eaten straight out of the container, because I’m classy.

I spent my afternoon packing boxes and moving them from our old apartment to our new place.

So.many.boxes. So.many.stairs.

After unloading and unpacking all the boxes, I made myself a cup of red raspberry leaf tea

And ate some more watermelon 😉

A few short hours later, Landon came home and I made a perfect fall meal.

I like to pretend that it’s fall weather right now.

I didn’t know how this recipe would turn out, but oh boy- it was a winner! Check back later today for the recipe!

To finish off our Tuesday night, Landon played a game of frisbee with friends, while I chatted with the ladies.

I’m signing off for now, let’s hangout later today and I’ll share that recipe, okay?
