Staying Fashionable and Functional with Cleo Madison
You know when you find those online store gems and are just sucked right in. That’s what happened to me when Cleo Madison, a new to me clothing company, reached out to my inbox. I was immediately intrigued by there name (hello, isn’t that name adorable and catchy?) and within minutes pursued through there online clothing selection. Verdict: Everything is not only adorable, but modest and mom friendly.
After having Niah, I’ve realized just how important it is (at least for me) to have clothes that not only work for me and fit well, but are functional! Can I get an amen on this moms? Since Benaiah is now so active, I feel as though I need clothes and shoes that not only are functional, but also can be literally thrown together in minutes. That’s where these amazing shoes came in.
I am a big fan of capsule wardrobes. If you are unfamiliar, capsule wardrobes are simply a small collection of clothing that you love, flows together well, and works with multiple seasons. Recently, I have fallen in love with simple, classic wardrobes that require 0.5% effort in putting together a fashionable outfit. One staple item that I love having only a couple of are shoes. As a runner, I am all about good, supportive shoes while still being stylish. And these shoes are a winner!
I love how I can literally throw these on with just about any outfit and not only do they compliment the outfit, they really tie it all together. I now have my two basic pairs of shoes that I adore (and have great support!) and I love how effortless it is to throw together an outfit together, now. I love what Cleo Madison’s mission is too. Not only do they want to provide fashionable clothing for women, but modest and functional clothing as well! Which, in my experience is hard to find. I included their mission statement from their website, below…
