New Favorites, a Good Run, and Odd Combos (WIAW 6/28)

Happy Wednesday from my cup of coffee to yours. Can I tell you how much I am loving the fact that coffee and I are friends again?

And don’t worry, I’m only drinking 1-2 cups a day, for the sake of baby T. 😉

Since we are partying today with WIAW (no idea what this party is about, check it out here.) let’s get this party started!

Yesterday, I rolled out of bed, sent Landon off to work, ate a couple banana chips (thanks for the bag mom!) and went for a run.

Yesterday’s run was perfect. The weather was unusually cool for this time of year (about 68 degrees!) and the run felt super strong. (Yay for strong runs!)

After depositing checks at the bank, I came home and downed a banana chocolate protein shake.

(This is my new favorite smoothie combo-recipe to come!)

The rest of the morning, I worked on the blog, cleaned the house, made some phone calls, and whipped up lunch.

Lunch? Chickpea salad, tortilla chips, and cheese.

I spent the afternoon cleaning the house, working on insurance paper work (you know you are an adult when…) and finishing up blog work for the day.

Once I got home from running errands, I snacked on a peach and my father in law came over to pick up some coffee.

When Landon came home, we ate a totally random, pretty delicious dinner. Sautéed collards and cabbage on top of brown rice noodles. (Weird combination but for some reason it worked.)

After dinner, Landon and I went to our final Bradley class (sad day!) and ran a few errands. When we got home, I was starving so I made myself a Greek yogurt parfait with a peach mixed in.

We ended the night with devotions  and late night talks.

And that’s a WIAW wrap! Catch you all later today with another new recipe. Be on the lookout for it!

Questions of the Day:

  1. Name three things you ate yesterday?
  2. What’s your favorite odd combination?
  3. Share your workout from yesterday!
