Lightened Up Frappucino

Oh coffee, I’m so glad to have you back in my life. Now, I’m only having a cup and not every day because of baby T, but it still feels good to have every once in a while.

I’m usually a hot coffee kind of person, but when the weather changes and I’m craving something cold and slightly sweet to drink, this is one of my favorite recipes to make.

Lightened Up Frappucino:

1 c. Milk (you choose: almond, cow, coconut, etc.)

5-6 ice cubes (or as much as you need to make it thick enough)

1 packet black coffee (I use mine, which is non-acidic (!), but you could use 1-3 tsp. Instant coffee)

1 tsp. Honey or a couple packets Stevia (I prefer Stevia, but honey is good too!)

Optional add-ins:

  • Dark chocolate chips or chunks (highly recommended)
  • Extracts
  • Cream

Method

Put all ingredients into blender, and blend on high until frothy. Pour into a cold glass and top with whipped cream if desired.

Enjoy!
