Kale Chips

This is Hannah Banana. She is eight years old. She really likes Kale Chips.

Which means that anyone can like kale chips. They really aren’t that scary. In fact, as some of you know already, Hannah requested Kale chips for her birthday snack. (Proud older sister moment!)

The beauty of kale chips is the simplicity of making them. You don’t have to use a dehydrator (patience issues?) and they are done within fifteen minutes. Another reason to love kale chips? You can eat the entire batch and not feel guilty. That’s my kind of food!

Kale Chips

1 Large Bag of chopped Kale

2- 3 Tbsp. EVOO or Coconut Oil

1 Tsp. Salt

Any extra spices you wish, you judge the amount! (I like garlic powder, onion, and chili powder)

Place kale in large bowl, drizzle oil, and add spices. Massage kale until spices and oil is evenly distributed. Place on baking sheets.

Bake on two different baking sheets at 400 for 10 minutes, flipping half way through. Make sure to watch carefully. The kale burns quickly, and I am speaking from experience here.

After taking out of oven, eat off pan or scrape into glass bowl. Enjoy day of cooking for best taste!
