Healthy Chocolate Shake

Thick, creamy, and chocolaty, you would never guess that this shake is actually good for you and packed with protein! Perfect for dessert, late night cravings, or even breakfast, this indulgent tasting shake is not only easy on the waist, but even easier to eat.

Confession: I can make it through an entire day without craving sweet things, but when the clock strikes ‘one second after dinner,’ my body starts demanding something sweet to satisfy it’s deep longing. Sometimes, I will give in to the demands, and when I do I like to replace the sugary craving with something that leans on the healthier side.

I find myself making this healthy dessert a lot and probably for these reasons: it’s made up from healthy ingredients, it’s super delicious, it tastes almost like ice cream, and it’s easy to whip up.

A few notes about this shake: I normally use almond milk, but if you want your shake to lean on the creamier side, dairy milk is perfect. I haven’t tried coconut milk or cream, but that would be another great option. Another thing to take note of, I use approximately one to one a half bananas. The more frozen bananas the creamier. I also highly suggest using protein powder for extra nutrition! Like my previous recipe, this one is also super versatile. Get crazy, get creative and enjoy!
