Friday Favorites: Baby Play Dates and Gorgeous Weather

Good morning and happy FriYay! I am looking forward to a quiet evening at home with Landon and Benaiah. I am hoping to make a fun date night in meal, but have yet to decide what to make. If you guys have any fun suggestions, let me know, okay? I hope you guys have a fun weekend plans and a great day planned for today!

Before we kick this weekend off, I thought I would share a couple highlights from the week with you guys. Feel free to share something with me, in the comments below, that you’ve been enjoying this week too!

Baby Play Dates

How adorable is this photo? My friend of seven plus years, Casey, had her daughter eighteen days after I had Benaiah, but we had yet to get together. Monday, we finally were able to get together and have our little ones meet each other for the first time. I think Sam was more interested in Niah than Niah was interested in Sam, but we are making progress.

Beautiful Sunshine and Temperatures

Although the temperature decided to drop yesterday, we enjoyed gorgeous weather all week long, once it even made it to the seventies! The beautiful sunshine has been a welcomed break in the midst of a bleak winter. And although I loved the temperatures we had this week, I’m a little bummed that it’s only a tease, since spring won’t be here to stay for a little while longer.

Halo Top Ice Cream

If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time now, you know that I’m a fan of Halo Top Ice cream. Last weekend, I bought this new-to-me flavor and was totally impressed by it’s authentic caramel flavor, but not overly sweet taste. Usually, caramel isn’t my number one choice flavor, but I think this Halo Top flavor is one of my favorites, next to the vanilla bean, strawberry, and mint chip. If you’ve had Halo Top, do you guy have a favorite flavor? Any recommendations for the next pint I should try out?

Benaiah’s Mobility

DSC_3153

This guy is so close to crawling! It is so much fun to watch him fight to move around and discover his new capabilities. Right now, he’s able to scoot backwards, but not forwards (which makes him really frustrated!) He’s also getting good at turning around in circles while on his stomach and wiggling all over the place. I love seeing him grow up, but I miss that little baby boy too. #allthemomfeels

Long Walks

Since the weather was so nice this week, Niah and I took full advantage of the sunshine and walked quite a bit this week. It is so refreshing to get out of the house and explore some. A few days ago, I stopped into my favorite running store and got some helpful information on a few local running groups that I can join to help my upcoming marathon training! I am excited to have some friends to join for my long runs. Running twenty miles by myself doesn’t sound too appealing. 😉

How about you? What are some of your favorites from this week? Comment below and share, I want to hear all the details! Have a fabulous rest of your Friday and enjoy your weekend!
