Friday Favorites
Hello and happy Friday! Let’s take a minute to celebrate the fact that we made it to Friday! WOohoo! Honestly, this week has FLOWN by and I cannot believe we are already approaching the weekend. I am looking forward to a weekend full of relaxation, a long run, and some type hanging out with family and friends.
Coffee Dates
This was actually a photo from this past weekend, but I think it still can count in my Friday favorites post, right? Right. This past weekend, I got a thank you card from a client of mine with a gift card to Starbucks. Ready for a shocker – I can’t remember the last time I was in a Starbucks (although I love their coffee, I usually go to a local coffee spot near me) Since I hadn’t been to Starbucks in forever, I felt like a total newbie, trying to remember their sizing, etc. without looking like a total idiot. I ended up getting a tall (not small, haha) coconut milk latte and it was fantastic. Perfectly creamy, warm and delicious on a cold, rainy walk to Ace Hardware, haha. Landon and I are quite the romantics, as you can tell 😉
GORGEOUS weather!
This past week, the temperatures have been hitting 50-60s and for this Midwestern girl, it feels AMAZING. Niah and I were able to get three, outdoor stroller runs in (Mon/Tues/Wed) and hit a 7 mi, 6 mi, and 5mi run. I’ve missed the sunshine, the warm temperatures and park dates with other mothers and this week, I was able to experience all of that! Now, if spring could just come around that would be amazing.
New Business Ventures
So, I may or may not have done something crazy…? I started another business and I couldn’t be more excited. As you guys know, I am on a mission to make sure that everything I put in and (ON) my body is safe, toxic free, and natural. The past couple months I’ve switched over all my makeup to toxic free, amazing makeup and now in the past month and a half, I switched over my hair care into a vegan, toxic free luxury hair product and my hair has never been healthier. Honestly, I’ve never seen my hair as shiny and as soft as it is now! And because I saw some amazing results, coupled with an amazing company with dynamic mentorship from incredible entrepreneurs (think 6 figure online entrepreneurs) I had to dive in. So, yes, I just partnered with an incredible, ground floor, luxury hair care company and I’m super pumped. Yes, it may be crazy, but I think life is a little more fun when it’s a little crazy, right? Right.
