Feeling More Human and I’m Getting Spoiled (WIAW 9/14)

Well, that was lovely. Benaiah slept like a champ last night and I feel like I have a half way normal anount of energy. I love it when mornings start off like this.

Actually, more like this. Enter: frothy cup of black coffee. Oh coffee, I adore you. You have been good to me since Benaiah’s arrival.

Yesterday morning, after my cup of coffee, Landon and I made ourselves a quick protein shake which we downed while the little man rocked in his mamaRoo.

He was pretty content. To anyone on the hunt for a good bouncer, this one, so far, gets an A+.

After a couple nursing sessions, devotions, and blogging, Landon and I enjoyed chicken salads along with seedy garlic bread.

Garlic bread ❤️

After lunch and while Benaiah slept, I painted my nails. (don’t look too closely, not a nail expert) is it just me or does anyone else feel like their life is 93% more put together when your nails are polished? Also, for anyone who is wondering, I painted my nails in a seperate room while Benaiah slept

Afternoon activities? Outside time with daddy,  more Benaiah snuggles, and finally a shower for mom. So, yesterday = fresh nails + a shower + makeup = Bethany feels much more like a human. Praise.

Later in the evening, we were blessed with another meal. I may forget how to cook if I continue to get this spoiled.

Dinner >> Korean chicken, (amazing!) rice, salad, and minestrone soup.

After dinner, Landon and I snacked on gluten free cranberry chcocate chip cookies and  watched an episode of Sherlock while Benaiah ate.

Soon after, we all called it a night and crashed.

And with that, I’m off to finish my morning to-do list. Make today great friends!

Questions of the Day

  1. Do you like to have your nails done? How often do you paint them?
  2. Three things you ate yesterday?
  3. Cranberries in your cookies? Yay or nay?
