Cow Appreciation Day, ALMOND BUTTER IS BACK IN MY LIFE (!) and a Humid Run (WIAW 7/12)

Happy, happy Wednesday! I hope you all have a great day planned. I’m starting off my morning with a upper body workout, stretching, (I need to get getter at this!) and a smoothie.

Before we get started- have no idea what’s going on today? Check out more details here.

Let’s talk about yesterday…

Yesterday, I started my morning off with two miles in 85% humidity. My muscle is still giving me grief, so I decided to stop at two. (Bummer!!) BUT the humidity left me drowning in sweat, which left me feeling super epic. 😉

After my run, I ran a few errands (while sweaty, sorry to anyone who saw me out in public!) and headed back home to make my favorite breakfast (as of late!)

Enter a foamy cup of coffee and my favorite Peanut butter chocolate smoothie, with lots of spinach!

I really don’t think you can go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate….but that’s just me.

Charissa and I like to update each other about every single thing that happens in our lives. Hence the photo above.

The rest of the morning, I spent reading my Bible, cleaning the house, and planning my upcoming baby showers, and talking with my mom.

Mom phone calls = the best.

Another best of the day? One of my sweet, sweet friends sent me a “Congratulations on making it to the end of your pregnancy” package. (Isn’t that adorable!?)

And what was in the package you ask?

Behold: Almond butter.

Now you (hopefully) understand my overly-dramatic title.

She sent some other adorable items, but I’m sharing those things with you tomorrow. Stay tuned.

But seriously, she is such a gem. Thanks so much Kelle, you made my day!

After chatting with mom and opening up my surprise package, I made myself a big bowl of lentils (with lots of spinach!) and paired it with a side of cheese and carrots.

Afterwards, I had this amazing bowl of fruit.

Later in the afternoon, I worked on the blog, shared a recipe, and got ready for business meeting.

Did you guys get the memo that it was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-a? As you can tell, I was pretty excited about not having to cook dinner!

Landon is the cutest cow I’ve ever seen.

We both enjoyed a wrap from chick-fil-a on our way to a business meeting.

After the meeting, we came home, I snacked on some watermleon before bed, and we chatted about baby names! I think we are 99.9% decided (!!)

That’s all for now, I’m off to workout and have breakfast.

I hope your Wednesday is great friends! Let’s hangout later today, okay?

Questions of the Day
