A Little Bit of Everything… Let’s Catch Up on Life
I feel like it’s been way too long since we’ve chatted, combined with feeling a little all over the place, today’s blog post is a little bit of everything I’ve been meaning to tell you for the past week or so…I hope this doesn’t get too confusing 😉

First, a week ago, Landon kidnapped me and took me out for a surprise, mini anniversary celebration. He threw me in the car, played our wedding playlist, and took about 2567 turns before unveiling our final destination!
He surprised me with a picnic at the Japanese Gardens, complete with crackers, cheese, grapefruit, La Croix, and Halo Top (two of my favorite things ever <<<)

Halo Top is easily one of my top favorite desserts and it was a perfect way to end our mid-week, mini anniversary date night! Also, I always eat Halo Top straight out of the pint, anyone else with me on this? Oh and have you guys seen the new flavors yet? I am dying to try the chocolate covered banana flavor! MMMM.
In other news, I finally got a run in after my twenty miler on Saturday. My right foot decided to flare up on me and I wanted to play it safe, just in case of injury! Thankfully, I am feeling great today and was able to get my morning run in (5 for today.) I’m also on the hunt for a new pair of shoes today- I will keep you updated on what I find!
Park dates are easily one of my favorite summer activities. I love watching the joy a swing brings to a child.
Also, Benaiah doesn’t only swing, he flies.
Speaking of my baby boy -this week, my little peanut turns ONE YEAR OLD. I seriously cannot believe how fast this time has flown by. This has been the craziest and fastest year of my life. I am so excited to see what new adventures await us, in year 1 of Benaiah’s life! (actually, would this technically be year 2 of Benaiah’s life)
Lastly, my gorgeous sister started working just steps away from my house. Guess what that means? Extra sister time! I am super excited that I get to see her twice a week now on lunch break and after work. I foresee many coffee dates in our future 😉
