A COLD Run +Muffins Galore (WIAW 11/22)

Hey, hey, hey friends! I am excited because, since Landon has a four day weekend, today feels like a Friday. I don’t know if you guys have a four day weekend, but I hope you do. They are the best.
Not only do we have four days together, but we also have lots of fun/relaxing plans to fill each day. I’ll make sure to keep you updated. 😉

Even though it feels like Friday, it’s really Wednesday, which means it’s time for another round of WIAW! Before I decide to talk about some other random thoughts, let’s get onto the good stuff.

Like, the above coffee for example. Yesterday morning began the way almost every morning around here begins, with a large mug of hot coffee. After Landon went to work and I drank my coffee, Benaiah and I went to our library so I could upload pictures.

Our computer isn’t letting me upload pictures from my flash drive (it doesn’t even recognize that it is a flash drive!) which means I’m using the libraries computers for now. Thankfully, Benaiah was good and actually fell asleep while I worked on the blog.

Once we got back home, I quickly fed him and picked up the house.

Oh and I made myself a quick breakfast. Smoothie = typical.

After breakfast, I face timed my sister-in-law, made Landon lunch, and got ready to go running. Monday night, I went to bed determined I would chase the sunrise in the morning.

Yeah, that didn’t happen. Lunch run for me instead.

My run was pretty good (minus the tight hip flexors) but short. Speaking of short, don’t run in 30 degree weather in shorts. It’s not a good idea.

After freezing, I had a late lunch of butternut squash soup with oyster crackers.

My afternoon quickly went by as I changed a couple diapers, gave Benaiah a bath, finished cleaning the house, prepared dinner, worked on some behind the scenes blood work, and whipped up a batch of these delicious muffins.

Recipe coming your way on Friday!! Keep an eye out for it.

Once Landon came home from work, we enjoyed a cheesy scrambled egg dinner with a side of muffins.

Excuse the terrible photo, the lighting was horrible last night.

After dinner, we had to the library again, to upload more pictures and finish some blog work. Once I was finished, we ran to Aldi to pick up a few grocery items and eventually made our way back home to make healthy chocolate chip cookies to end the evening off right. Might as well start eating dessert early on in the holiday week, right? 😉

And there you have it, my Tuesday in a nutshell. I hope you guys have a wonderful day before Thanksgiving and holiday weekend! May your weekend be filled with lots of family time and lots of good food.
Talk with y’all tomorrow!
